Frequently Asked Questions
How early should I start planning my pet's travel?
We recommend starting at least 4-6 months in advance. The Rabies Serology Titer test required for returning to Singapore (Schedule II/III) has a strict 90-day waiting period after the blood is drawn.
Does my pet need quarantine when returning to Singapore?
If you travel to Schedule I countries (e.g., UK, Australia) or Schedule II countries (e.g., Japan, most of EU) and fulfill all requirements including the 90-day Titer test, quarantine is generally NOT required. Schedule III countries require mandatory 30-day quarantine.
Can I do the paperwork myself?
Yes, our tool is designed to help you DIY. However, mistakes in the AVS Import License application or Health Certificate endorsement can lead to denied entry or quarantine. If you are unsure, our Expert Review service can verify your documents.
What is the 90-day Rabies Titer rule?
Singapore requires a Rabies Serology test showing >= 0.5 IU/ml antibodies. The blood must be drawn at least 30 days after vaccination AND at least 90 days before your pet returns to Singapore. Our calculator handles this math for you.
